Suzanne Lenhart’s bio includes:

  • Chancellor’s Professor in Mathematics, University of Tennessee
  • Associate Director for Education and Outreach at the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis, University of Tennessee
  • Part-time researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory
  • Has teacher certification at the high school level
  • Past President of the Association for Women in Mathematics
  • Received fellow awards of AAAS, SIAM and AMS
  • Involved with weekly outreach activities in middle and high schools  in the area for the last 15 years
  • Involved in education and outreach activities on a national level
